The program begins in Camden, NJ at the site of the Pennsylvania Railroad and Ferry connection to Philadelphia, PA, which has since become the NJ State Aquarium. Next is Pavonia Yard, along part of the original Camden & Amboy right-of-way, followed by the Delaware River Railroad & Bridge Company connection at Delair. Pickup the main line in Merchantville and head east into Mount Holly. Take the Medford Branch, then the Burlington Branch. After viewing Vincentown station, continue east to Birmingham where the main line divides. Visit Fort Dix, the Kinkora Branch, and the Union Transportation Company line into Hightstown. Pickup the main once again in South Pemberton and visit Browns Mills, Upton, Whiting, Toms River, the Island Heights Branch, Seaside Park, Lavallette, and then north to the New York & Long Branch Junction at Bay Head where a new NJT GP40 arrives with a passenger train. View all remaining rails and many sections that have been removed as we travel over some of the old roadbed during our tour. Slides and movie film have been intermixed with live video to reflect on the past. Videotaped in 1987 and 1988.
