Volumes 1 and 2 are Clear Block Productions' salute to our home town - Marion, Ohio. Formerly the crossroads of the Erie, Pennsylvania, Chesapeake & Ohio and New York Central Railroads, during the 1990's Marion hosted an average of over 50 trains daily on Conrail, CSX, and Norfolk Southern. One of the things that make Marion unique is that all three roads cross within yards of each other at Marion Union Station and 'AC' Tower.
Volume 2 continues our look at the non-stop railroading around the Marion area during the 1990's that was begun in Volume 1. The East's major railroad companies - Conrail, CSX, and Norfolk Southern - provide 24 hour-a-day mainline action pounding through the crossing, and you will understand why Marion had been nicknamed "The Train Watching Capital of Ohio." Taped over a 7 year period during all four seasons, these railroads provide da great variety of action - including intermodal traffic, mineral trains, merchandisers and locals, Conrail Office Car Specials, and even Milwaukee Road 4-8-4 steamer 261!
Edited to represent a typical 24 hour day, AC-2 includes on-screen titles to identify trains and locations. The perfet companion tape to AC-1, this volume recalls exciting railroading during the final decade of the 20th Century, at one of the Century's premier ralroading locations - Marion, Ohio.
ALSO AVAILABLE - TAPE AC-1, which reviews Marion's early railroad history, tours Union Station and AC Tower, recounts the reloaction of AC, and of course - includes plenty of GREAT Conrail, CSX, and Norfolk Southern action.
