The trains are colorful and full of character, the diesel locomotives are Indian built Alco models, delightfully smokey, in a variety of types and colors. Howrah, with swarms of people everywhere, is India's largest station. We also visit Kamarkundu Junction and Kolaghat Junction for more passenger trains and some freight trains.
