AMTRAK'S NORTHEAST CORRIDOR VOLUME 2 VHS

Philadelphia to Washington D.C. Pentrex is proud to present an exclusive look at Amtrak's pride and joy, the Northeast Corridor. Produced with Amtrak's cooperation, this video explores the electrified, heavily-trafficked south end of the line from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C.

This scenic portion of the Northeast Corridor is the most modern segment of the system. It is dispatched by CETC, a computer-assisted, state-of-the-art dispatching system. We'll take you on a private tour of this fascinating control center housed in Amtrak's 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.

Trackside, our cameras capture over 100 commuter and Amtrak trains between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Locations include Eddystone, Pennsylvania; Wilmington, Delaware; Perryville, Havre De Grace, Aberdeen and Baltimore, Maryland; Washington, D.C., and many others. We'll also visit Washington Union Station's "K" tower and see how it controls the great variety of trains and locomotives moving into and out of this busy terminal.

Highlighting the tape is a ride in the cab of an AEM-7 locomotive which is at the head of a Metroliner train doing 125 miles-per-hour! You won't want to miss this exciting opportunity to experience the thrill of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor.
