It has been said that most Railfans have two favorite railroads, The Baltimore and Ohio and one other. While you are watching ''VIGNETTES - THE B&O IN THE 1950's", it will be easy to understand why the B&O is Karl Walters' favorite.
Karl was trackside during the transition years on the B&O to photograph not only their finest in steam, but also their newest in diesels. EM-1's and E-8's, Big Sixes and Sharks, P-7's and FT's in classic locations such as Benwood, Grafton, Columbus, and Willard. Not content to record only mailine action, Karl also filmed his favorite locomotives, the P-1's and the Q-4's, in the branchline settings of Cambridge, Zanesville, and Holloway, among others
So, travel with CLEAR BLOCK to not only these locations, but back almost 50 years, and enjoy these VIGNETTES OF THE B&O IN THE 1950's...
